11. No domain should have more than one link that goes back to it. Even though many of the links on your site make sense, they can look like spam on ours.
Acceptable links:
Relevant blog posts and articles
Data or Research
Resources that will genuinely benefit the reader and make sense in the context of the posts.
Unacceptable links:
Affiliate links
One’s own company links (homepage, About Us, Contact, Prices, Products, etc.)
Product/service/pricing pages
Category/tag pages
Company social profile links — please place these in your profile instead.
No link building. If we determine that you are contributing content only to establish links for yourself or others, we will either request that the links be removed or simply not publish the posts.
Do not use repeat links or repeat keywords/anchor text.
No keyword-rich linking.
We have the right to take down or not follow any link we want.
If you want to send us a post that must have a link, it's probably not a good fit for us because that would be sponsored content. Please expect that any link you add will be taken down.
Guidelines for Infographic Submissions
At least 300 words of original text must also be included. This material should be a big post on its own, containing useful information. It should not merely restate or summaries the infographic's content. We anticipate that this content will be as well written as a standard full-length blog post. If an infographic post contains thin text, it will be rejected regardless of how amazing the image is.
The topic of an infographic must be connected to our main site themes. Irrelevant infographics will be disqualified.
Infographic posts must include a link to the original picture source page, not the homepage of the company. The link to the original source page should display below the infographic, not within the infographic itself.
The image should be of good quality and contain relevant and valuable information.
